Welcome to Emerald Mountain Expressway! Our goal is to provide you with a quicker route to East Montgomery. We have been serving the community since 1994 and since that time have made many improvements to get you where you are going faster and easier. We have grown from using fleet decals and cards to transponders and mobile apps! As part of this transition, we have adjusted the Freedom Pass only lanes to best match morning and afternoon traffic patterns so that those with a window sticker or mobile app can drive through faster. The message boards above our lanes were recently installed to give our customers the clearest view possible of which lane will best serve their needs. Our Alabama Freedom Pass mobile app now has account management functionality to make updating window stickers or payment information fast and convenient. We truly appreciate our toll attendants! They enjoy seeing regular customers each day and meeting new people, too. When they greet you with a smile its genuine! They are dedicated to serving our customers however they can. Our toll attendants give directions, share their favorite restaurants, and love saying hello to the four-legged friends who travel the bridge!
